The Green Earth Returns

What do the gods find on the new earth?

In *The Seeress's Prophecy*, the earth rises once more from the waves of the sea. This new earth is green all over. Waterfalls tumble down, and an eagle flies above them. It catches fish below the cliffs.

The gods gather at Idavoll. In *The Deluding of Gylfi*, this is where Asgard once stood. They sit down together and talk about the events of long ago.

In *The Seeress's Prophecy*, they speak of the terrible serpent that encircled the earth. They recall the great events of the past and the ancient runes of the ruler of the gods. Then golden gaming pieces are found in the grass. The pieces the gods owned long ago have come to light again.
