Explore the whole of the Eddas with SNES-style pictures and easy-to-read stories.
Norse myths are stories of gods and heroes passed down by the people of northern Europe. They survive in old books written in Iceland, known as the Eddas.
There are 2 Eddas: the Poetic Edda, a collection of old poems whose most important manuscript, the Codex Regius, was discovered in 1643; and Snorri's Edda, written by the Icelander Snorri Sturluson, who died in 1241.
This site divides all the stories in the 2 Eddas into 7 chapters and 153 entries, arranged in the order of the game scenes. Every entry has a SNES-style picture. Where an older artist's picture is available, you can switch between the images.
