Thor Drives Loki Away
Who put an end to Loki's insults?
In "Loki's Quarrel," Loki also hurls insults at Njord, Tyr, and Frey. He taunts Tyr about the wolf that bit off his right hand. He mocks Byggvir, saying that he hid in the straw during a fight.
Heimdall scolds Loki for drinking too much, but Loki answers him back. Skadi warns that the gods will bind him with his son's guts. Even when Sif offers him mead, Loki insults her too.
Beyla feels the mountains shaking and thinks Thor must be coming. Loki turns his insults on her as well. Then Thor arrives and threatens to silence him with Mjolnir.
Still Loki mocks Thor's past failures. Thor threatens to crush his bones with his hammer. At last, Loki replies that Thor alone can make him leave, because he knows Thor really will fight.
